Présentation

Nous vous proposons ce Treasure Hunt qui pourra être réparti sur deux ou trois séances et qui permettra aux élèves de collège d'acquérir des connaissances ou de les approfondir sur la nation Arc-en-Ciel - The Rainbow Nation.

La séquence est utilisable en salle multimédia.

Mise en oeuvre

Vous trouverez ci-dessous l'ensemble de la séquence, mais vous pouvez également le télécharger ici.

Les différentes activités proposées vous permettront d'aborder les points les plus importants de l'Afrique du Sud et d'emmener vos élèves hors des sentiers battus (et hors de leur manuel!) pour la fin de l'année. Mais vos élèves vont également apprendre à travailler en autonomie et à découvrir une forme de travail qui s'apparente à ce qu'ils feront en Seconde : l'étude de documents authentiques, à travers lesquelsl ils construisent peu à peu leurs connaissances, tout en s'appuyant sur les 4 compétences, compréhension et expression écrite pour les activités du Treasure Hunt, compréhension et expression orale pour le brainstorming, la mise en commun des réponses aux activités et le travail sur la chanson Asimbonanga . Avec des élèves de Troisième très motivés, vous pouvez terminer par l'analyse du cartoon sur l'apartheid qui permettra de vérifier l'acquisition des notions et du vocabulaire spécifique à l'Afrique du Sud.
